About Me

About Me:
I am a wife and mother of two.
I opened my home to Homecare in September 2013.

I am a 2009 graduate of the early childhood education program at Fanshawe college.
I have worked at a few licenced childcare centers throughout London since 2007 in all age groups.
I have also volunteered within kindergarten classes in the Thames Valley District School board.
I have valid CPR and first aid training. I have also received training in food and environmental allergies and intollerences with epi pen administration. I am also familiar with childhood diabetes procedures.
I have attended over 60 workshops and professional development opportunities to stay educated and current in the field of childcare.

Through my previous job and volunteer opportunities I have gained knowledge and skills in many areas. I am a very organized individual and I thoroughly enjoy planning. I am a hard worker, and I am comfortable working independently or as a team. I have been able to build positive leadership skills in a management position, as well as communication and interpersonal skills as the job revolves around the customer/client. I have trained staff, and facilitated meetings for new staff.
